Progress Report on the Shelly Lawson Books Re-editing
Good morning, Marvellous Mavens. I know I'm a day late on the blog and for that I apologize. I didn't even realize yesterday was supposed to be a blog day until this morning.
But, I did get a lot of work done in my editing project yesterday. And, that's what I wanted to talk to you guys about today: how things are going on my editing project of the Shelly Lawson books.
I'm currently working on A Change of Pace. It started out difficult because I published that book 15 years ago and no longer have the original manuscript, so I had to download from KDP. However, when I downloaded it, it came as all one big block of text, so what I'm doing right now is going through and putting the paragraphs and the chapter breaks and the page breaks and fixing little errors I see here and there.
Then, I'm gonna go through it again and edit some more. Then, I'll probably go through a third time for formatting. Then, I'll get it ready to publish.
Then, I'll move on to the next book and start all over. It'll get easier as I get into the newer books that I actually have the manuscripts for and don't have to download what KDP has.
