Word Count Progress Update on My Two WIPs
Good morning, Marvellous Mavens! I hope you didn't wake up as early as me. Oh well. I'm using the time while hubby is asleep to get some uninterrupted work done.
Yesterday, I stayed home on account of rain, and because of that, I got plenty of writing done. I got Lies of Omission up to 5,000 words and now I'm trying to get Grippy Sock Jail up to 10,000 words. With all the rain in the forecast, I should have it done before the end of the week.
I really should be working on Grippy Sock Jail more. I'm sure whatever publisher finally publishes Grippy Sock Vacay would be happy to know that I'm working on the sequel.
It's just that my mystery fans have been waiting for Lies of Omission for about 10 years, so I feel like I owe it to them to finish it. It's also going to be significantly shorter than the Grippy Sock Series books.
Either way, I'm going back-and-forth working on both. You're welcome.
What goals are you working on this week? What are you doing to accomplish those goals? Let me know in the comments.
For those of you who can't make it to Austin or San Antonio for the book-signings this month, you can order signed directly from me on my TikTok and Shopify stores. I will put those links below as always.
